To-do:
Plan the layout to ensure that there’s a place for everything, ample space for moving around, and efficient work flow (have a mummy friend check your layout to see if it makes sense for baby’s daily routines)
-
Consider using wall decals instead of re-painting the room
-
Have black-out curtains installed (and cleaned)
-
Do basic babyproofing by covering wall outlets – avoiding purchasing furniture with sharp corners as well
-
Include assembly with delivery to avoid having to do it yourself (especially when you’re heavily pregnant)
-
Wash baby’s clothes, towels, and sheets – plus figure out how to work appliances like the baby monitor and bottle sterilizer – two weeks before your delivery date
